What is a Raw Dog session?
No screens, no music, no distractions — just you and your own mind. It's meditation, minus the incense and candles. Set a session length, put your phone on Do Not Disturb, remove every distraction, and sit with yourself. Done daily, it retrains your attention and helps break the dopamine loop screens build.
How do I record and share a session?
Open the Record tab, tap Start Session, choose a length, and the app records while you sit. When you finish, it builds a clean, branded time-lapse with your handle and stats — ready to save to your camera roll and post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts. You can add a voiceover, captions, and music before saving.
Is my video private?
Yes. All video, audio, and photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. The only things that sync are your username, session counts, streak, and badges — just enough to run the leaderboard. What you share, and where, is always your choice.
How do I choose or change my username?
You're prompted to pick a handle before your first recording. To change it later, go to Settings → Account → Change Username. Your @username is what appears on the leaderboard and on your shared videos.
How do I keep my progress off the public leaderboard?
On the Compete tab, switch to Progress in Private. Your stats stay yours and won't appear on anyone else's leaderboard. Switch back to Enter the Competition any time.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Raw Dog Challenge, where you can change or cancel your plan. Your free trial converts only if you don't cancel before it ends.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, then tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings → Subscription. Your progress (sessions, streak, badges, challenges) restores automatically when you sign in.
How do I sign out?
Go to Settings → Account → Sign Out.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. The action can't be undone.
